Jan Trøjborg, mayor of Horsens, passed away during a bike race
Chairman of the Local Government Association and Mayor of Horsens, Social Democrat Jan Trojborg sadly passed away today at 56 years old. Trøjborg died of a heart attack during an exercise bike race on the occasion of the Giro d’Italia start in Horsens, which will take place tomorrow. He previously held several ministerial positions - and he used to be known as a problem-solver.
“Trojborg was an incredibly significant politician, surely one of his generation’smost notable Socialist politicians” says TV 2′s political commentator, Henrik Qvortrup.
